About 1883 Water Works
The 1883 Water Works is Fort Collins’ first public works project, featuring a Gothic Revival pump house on 23+ acres along the foothills where the historic Overland Trail runs through the property. The site includes four historic buildings, two irrigation ditches, vintage apple trees, and cottonwoods that frame a scenic backdrop. Managed by the Poudre Landmarks Foundation, it offers tours interpreting the region’s water history and development.
