Avalon Resort is a secluded, clothing-optional resort and campground nestled on a mountainside in the West Virginia panhandle, about two hours from Washington, DC and Baltimore. Spanning more than 140 acres, it offers pools and hot tubs (including an indoor pool with an opening roof), sauna, hiking trails, sports courts, an events center, bar, snack bar, and varied lodging from tent and RV sites to cabins and condo rentals. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in designated areas, and the property features forests, meadows, a pond, and gardens.
