The Grade II*-listed Bethesda Methodist Chapel in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, dates from 1819 and is known as ‘the Cathedral of the Potteries’ for its impressive scale and design. Now owned by Re-form Heritage (2025), renovation work is underway to transform it into a centre for education and events with exhibition and performance space and some heritage interpretation. Historically seating 2,000, the two-storey chapel provides a striking historic setting for future exhibitions and performances.
