About Boyd Park
Elmer B. Boyd Park is a 20-acre, award-winning riverfront park in New Brunswick that was reopened in 1999 as part of an $11 million redevelopment of the city’s riverfront. It offers views of the Raritan River and New Brunswick’s skyline, features a lighted 3/4-mile tow path, a historical swing bridge, canal and locks, and extensive historical signage. The Rutgers Boathouse and launch area sit at the park’s south end, and the park has hosted many festivals and special events.
