About Grange Gardens
Grange Gardens is a historic public park in Cardiff’s Grangetown, officially opened in 1895 as one of the area’s first dedicated recreational spaces. Features include a bandstand, bowling green, tennis facilities, a children’s playground, a drinking fountain, mature London plane trees, and a war memorial. A lottery-funded redevelopment in 2000 introduced replicas of the original bandstand and drinking fountain canopy along with new entrance gates, railings, paths, and planting.
