About Historic Courthouse
Perched on a hill overlooking downtown Stillwater and the St. Croix River, the Washington County Historic Courthouse is Minnesota’s oldest standing courthouse, completed in 1870 in the Italianate style with Greek Revival influences. Now part of Washington County Parks, it offers guided and self-guided tours, exhibits, educational programs, and private meeting and event rental spaces.
