Ipswich Golf Club is a private members’ club on heathland less than four miles from Ipswich, featuring the renowned 18-hole Purdis Heath course and the 9-hole Bixley Course. Founded in 1895 and on its current 200-acre site since 1926, the James Braid–designed Purdis Heath is consistently ranked among England’s Top 100 for its strategic challenge, natural contours and meticulous presentation.
