About John Denver Sanctuary
The John Denver Sanctuary is a serene riverside public park at 470 Rio Grande Place in Aspen, offering a peaceful, contemplative escape beside Rio Grande Park. Created in memory of legendary singer John Denver, it features lush wetlands, water features, and boulder and perennial gardens with engraved stones along scenic walking paths. The sanctuary is open to the public from dawn to dusk and does not require tickets.
