About Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum
Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum is a 44-acre nonprofit public garden on the historic grounds of the former Howell Nurseries, just five minutes from downtown Knoxville. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it features walking trails, display gardens, timeless buildings, and more than two miles of distinctive stone walls. The historic Howell House Visitors Center includes a gift shop and public restrooms, and the Garden is free and open daily from dawn to dusk.
