The Laurel Theater is a 19th-century converted church in Knoxville’s Fort Sanders neighborhood, owned and operated by Jubilee Community Arts. Extensively renovated in the 1980s, it houses a concert hall, a secondary display and performance space, archives of sound recordings, and audio production facilities. The venue focuses on presenting and preserving the traditional arts of the Southern Appalachian region.
