About Leith Theatre

Leith Theatre is a striking Art Deco venue in Edinburgh that first opened in 1932, forming part of a wider complex with Leith Library and Thomas Morton Hall. Once closed for decades, it is being brought back to life through community efforts and support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with pop-up events since 2017 showcasing its potential. The ongoing restoration aims to reopen the building as a permanent, year-round cultural hub for Leith and the wider city.
