About Meredith Havens Fire Museum
The Meredith Havens Fire Museum in Trenton, NJ preserves the history of firefighting in the city with thousands of relics and printed materials, making it the largest display of its kind in the area. Founded in 1959 and renamed in 1974 for co-founder and first curator Meredith Havens, the museum is housed in the former apparatus bays of the old Fire Headquarters and reopened to the public in 2004. It is open Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with group tours available for parties of 10 or more.
