Mitchell House at Cedarhurst is a 1936 residence on the 80-acre Cedarhurst estate in Mount Vernon, IL, designed by Eleanor’s father for Eleanor and John R. Mitchell. The house is available for meetings, special events, and facility rentals as part of the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts campus. It is not open to the public on a daily basis.
