About Museum of Natural and Cultural History
The Museum of Natural and Cultural History is a place for making connections—to each other, to our past, and to our future—where visitors can dig into science, celebrate culture, and join together to create a just and sustainable world. The museum offers exhibits, education initiatives for K–12 and college students, and ongoing research in archaeology and paleontology. As Oregon’s official repository for cultural and paleontological materials, its vaults house hundreds of thousands of objects ranging from archaeological and ethnographic items to fossils and geological specimens.
