About Sottile Theatre
The College of Charleston’s Sottile Theatre is a beautiful and historic performance and event venue serving both the College and the Charleston community. In addition to the 785-seat theatre, the facility features several lobby areas, an outdoor balcony terrace, and a garden suitable for receptions. Built in the 1920s and meticulously restored and upgraded in 2019, it hosts everything from operas and ballets to conferences and receptions.
