The Sunsphere is Knoxville’s iconic 1982 World’s Fair landmark offering 360-degree panoramic views of downtown, World’s Fair Park, the University of Tennessee, and the Great Smoky Mountains. Visitors begin at the 3rd Floor Welcome Center for ticketing, regional souvenirs, and historical insights before ascending by elevator to the 4th Floor Observation Deck with interactive exhibits and a World’s Fair timeline gallery.
