About The Making Rooms

The Making Rooms is a community makerspace and Fab Lab in the heart of Blackburn, providing tools, skills and space to turn ideas into real things. Under one roof are six labs — including digital fabrication, ceramics, textiles, repair, eco and Precious Plastic — with laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC and kilns. The space offers free public access on Friday afternoons and weekends, plus workshops and machine hire by the hour during the week.
