Marjorie Merriweather Post Drawing Room

- The first-floor Drawing Room is named for Marjorie Merriweather Post. This irregularly shaped space features the house’s largest and most striking polygonal corner bay and retains a richly veined pink marble hearth beneath the fireplace mantel, adorned with carved details that reflect Art Nouveau design.
Bertie Hamlin Room

- The Hamlin Room is named for an American socialite, philanthropist, and civic activist. It features an elaborate Beaux-Arts plaster ceiling adorned with musical motifs. The room’s original oak-paneled sliding pocket doors have been preserved and integrated into the Entrance Hall wall.
1870 Room
