About Wakefield Golf Club

Established in 1891, Wakefield Golf Club is one of Yorkshire’s oldest private members’ clubs. Its 18-hole, par-72 course—designed by Sandy Herd with bunkering by Dr. Alister MacKenzie—features two loops of nine that start and finish at the clubhouse and is renowned for the quality of its greens. Visitors and societies are welcomed to a friendly club and a well-maintained course throughout the season.
