About Whittingham Discovery Center
The Whittingham Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art visitor and environmental education center in the heart of Stamford’s Mill River Park. It features interactive exhibits, classrooms, and flexible community gathering spaces including a Green Roof, amphitheater, and the Dudley Williams Community Room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the park. The LEED Platinum, sustainably designed building includes a rooftop solar array that supplies 85% of its energy.
