Halibut Point State Recreation Site in Sitka, Alaska is a 40-acre, oceanfront day-use park located about four miles north of downtown. The site features three covered picnic shelters, multiple picnic sites, a half‑mile hiking trail through coastal spruce and hemlock forest, and an ocean beach for beachcombing and exploring the intertidal zone. ADA facilities, toilets, water, and parking lots are available; note there is no vehicle access to the picnic pavilions.
